Down in southwest Montana is the Yellow Tail gorge region. Here it is different than the northern reaches of the state. In this scene the sunset light was bathing the dull steel lake surface, and giving the landscape that metal-wet look effect. I tried to get this on panel here to show the dramatics of the northern Rocky Mountain lighting in late summer.
