
Typhoon
It took $10 and a lot of patience to get this man to pose for me in the hale and gale of this storm that soon turned into the normal South Pacific Hurricane of some severe strenth in a matter of hours. He and I fared no worse, but the amount of beach sand on my painting was legion. I scraped it and scraped it and lo, here we are. The Island was Bougainville, like the flower.
