Jusrassic, by Robert A. M. Stephens

The companion work up for Cretaceous Bolide, from another view on the beach looking outward some 17 miles, for a more detailed view of the impact point (IP) and the water wall as it rises and begins its odyssey around the Earth at some 600 miles per hour, bringing on fire and ice upon the world.

Keep in mind that impact out there has the same force as 5 billion tons of TNT, or 1800 times all the nuclear arsenals of the Earth, in total aggregate. What you are viewing is only the first 2 seconds after impact. In another 12 seconds all that is viewed here will be a vapor of base elements, nothing more.

This is digital, executed in Maya, Bryce, Carrara and Adobe.

In the collection of Twentieth Century Fox.
