Orbiter at Charon, 2028 ....... by Robert A. M. Stephens. ... Collection of Paramount Sometimes it's easier to paint in 3D and its good for the mind and body to strain in this difficult medium. I enjoy it and have several commissions I must do in this format. It does lend it self well if you have to move the image, rotate it, do spline or CAD work, or animate and have the thing integreous to itself. I paint photo real anyway but a rastered image without the specular effects makes it impossible to do these things as one can do in 3D. This scene depicts an advanced manned orbiter, in 2028, coming into slow orbit around Pluto's moon Charon, replete with Charon's own tiny moonlet in orbit around the moon itself. This is for an upcoming movie I believe. |
